600 OMS v2
YSI's 600 OMS (Optical Monitoring System), developed from the 600 platform (1.6 inch diameter), can measure turbidity, chlorophyll, or rhodamine in combination with temperature, conductivity, and depth or vented level in fresh, sea or polluted water. The OMS has internal battery and memory, allowing it to be used either for real-time or unattended monitoring.
The 600 OMS v2 incorporates innovations in sensor configuration such as a conductivity and temperature module that fits into the sonde body. Suitable applications for the 600 OMS include turbidity level monitoring (dredging sites), dye tracing and algal activity monitoring.
